3D Printing

This Research Guide provides information about 3D Printing resources found in the CCCC Harnett campus library.

Cost and Payment Method

  • Cost: $0.10/gram of PLA and $0.15/gram of PVA filament. Both are used in every print at this time

    • Sometimes 3D print jobs fail (just like any other technology can). If it was due to a mechanical malfunction you will not be responsible for paying for the print. However, if the print fails because of the design, you will still be responsible for paying for the filament used during the failed print.

    • During the printing consultation, you will be told the total cost of the print job, as well as the time it will take to print it. 

  • At this time, the library only accepts cash or check for 3D print jobs.
