Books may be checked out for 3 weeks. DVDs may be checked out for 3 days (limit 3 titles)
Public patrons must present a current driver's license or other valid municipal, state or federal photo ID, and must be 16 years of age to obtain a library card. Only residents of the three-county service area (Chatham, Harnett, and Lee) will be issued a public patron library card.
Computers, Printing, Fax, and Scanning
Computers with internet access and Microsoft Office applications are available. A scanner and wireless internet access are also available at all libraries. Printing, photocopying, and faxing services are available for free at the Lee and Harnett Main Campus libraries. Printing and copying services at the Chatham Community Library are payable through a wireless printing system at 10¢ per page (black and white only).
Lee Library Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. & Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Harnett Library Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. & Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Chatham Community Library Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. & Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
*College campus is closed on Fridays during the Summer semester
Library staff is available for reference questions, research, or other library needs. Assistance is available in person, by phone, by email, by virtual appointment, and through a 24/7 online chat reference service.
There are designated visitor parking spots on campus for public patrons.
The libraries provide multiple options for study spaces including study rooms, study carrels, and quiet study tables.
